Jason Grucel, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications
A veritable library of New England sports knowledge, it’s fitting that Jason heads Taylor’s communications department. When he’s not immersed in the Red Sox or Patriots, or wondering why UNH hockey has once again flamed out in March, Jason contributes to qualitative and quantitative reports and serves as a writing coach for research staff, leading internal seminars and providing one-on-one editing assistance. He is also one of the lead editors and report writers on our largest customer satisfaction study.
Jason plays an active role in business development, including managing the proposal process, conducting financial analysis, and tracking company performance over time. He also works with the director of client services to develop and produce the company’s marketing materials, handle media and public relations, and shape Taylor's corporate identity.
Before joining Taylor in 1998, Jason was the editor in chief of UNH’s student-run newspaper, The New Hampshire, and served as the beat reporter assigned to the UNH men’s ice hockey team for three years for The Nashua Telegraph. He has also served as a correspondent for the Associated Press and various local newspapers. Jason holds a B.A. in English with a concentration in journalism from the University of New Hampshire.
Raised in the Mt. Washington Valley, Jason enjoys playing tennis and has assisted on Taylor’s United States Tennis Association work. He’s a talented cook, enjoys reading nonfiction, and loves running along the ocean on Route 1A in Rye. Those looking for a smile around the office check out The New Yorker cartoons on Jason’s office door.
